Don't be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs.Every time you conquer one it makes you much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselfs.

Just received a phone call from the Social worker at the hospital...they want to put my Dad in the Nursing home...wow I never thought it would come to this either but because of my back I am not able to lift him and he all but refuses to do physical therapy to get stronger and he won't eat, says their food is crap. Now I have to call my brothers and let them know..will any of them take him...no. Dad is not an easy person to live with...my mom must of been a saint.

My Dad has been in the hospital for over a month now, he fell and while he did not actually break anything he has a nasty bruise that the doctors say may take up to 10 weeks to heal. The bruise is so bad he had to have 2 units of blood. Since being in there for this long I have made a lot of trips with my younger grand kids to visit Papa. The different employers have grown use to seeing these little faces and my youngest granddaughter loves them all. Her favorite is the older lady that works in the cafeteria, first day we visited Addy told her that she "loves her hair" of course this lady wears a hair net and having anyone say they like it and truly mean it really did make her day. When ever we walk in both of their faces just light up when they spot each other, which does make my heart happy to know my little one makes someone else as happy as she does me. yesterday Addy had to stop outside and not pick just one or two dandelions but a whole bunch for her friend. When Addy handed them to her the lady said 'well thank you for the flowers" Addy replied "yes their baby sunflowers"

Grandchildren really do keep a person on their toes...I find it different than raising my own kids, when I have one of the grandkids I find myself watching them like a hawk...no one is getting hurt on my watch:) My youngest granddaughter is 3 and always into something and always getting hurt...but not while I have her...no way!!! Last week she was at her cousins and she ran out in front of her little cousin while he was riding his dirt bike...yes she steppped right out in front of him, what was she thinking? Who knows but she ended up with a bad burn on her leg from the muffler and her back all scraped up.Thing is she is tough, yes she crys but not like my girls ever did and hasn't complained once while someone is putting burn stuff on her and I know it has to hurt.....
